How do I get the smell of spilt milk out of a carpet?
Question:Have tried various cleaning fluids - washing up liquid, Cillit Bang - still smells a bit.

Have you tried with Milton, Which is a Sterilising solution used to clean new born baby´s/ children´s drinking bottles. This will rid the smell, I use this around the house for many thing´s . Leaves the fridge smelling very clean and at the same time kills all the germs.
make a paste out of bi-carb and vinegar...spread it over the smelly area..when it dries vacuum up the powder and the smell should be gone
