What is an easy way to clean this?
Question:I got side-tracked this evening and burned some chicken drumsticks I had baking in the oven. Is there any cleaning tips to make it easier to clean than scrubbing until my fingers bleed :) thanks!
Answers:
If its a big amount u can try cooking it off. Put some water in the pan, enough to cover the cooked on chicken. Bring it to a boil then turn it down to a simmer, see if it will loosen it up and u can scrape it off. Also u could try putting some baking soda on it and leaving it over night. Good luck!!
amonia in a small bowl. vapors will loosen the grime
Soak overnight, and then use SOS. Presto!
Easy-out oven cleaner. If your oven has a self cleaning mode, use that.
PUT THE PAN IN A TRASH BAG WITH SOME AMMONIA TIE IT CLOSES AND IN THE MORNING IT WILL COME CLEAN WITH EASE
Do you need to clean the oven or the dish you baked it in? In either way, you can heat up your oven, put your dish in it if you have to and add a couple of paper towels soaked in amonia (depending on the size of your oven)... then, turn off your oven and let the amonia do its thing... let it sit for a little while and then you should be able to just wipe it off
spray it with orange cleaner and let it sit a bit it should come up pretty easily
I bought this great thing... its a battery operated scrubber. If the pan is really bad I would soak it for a little while and then use this. Its made by Dawn I think... its in the same isle as the sponges, its blue and white and its GREAT! Good luck!
