Getting rid of cockroaches from the kitchen?

I put food out for them, I mix boric acid with corn meal, and put it in a jar lid and put where roaches live, they eat it, walk in it, and they die, keep boric acid away from people
step on them when they pop its an awsome sound
Boric acid works well as long as you don't have pets or kids.

Cockroaches are especially attracted to cardboard. In some areas they can be a problem. It doesn't have anything to do with cardboard, etc.Chances are they are all over the house. You just don't see them. You can go to the store. Buy a product designed just for killing them. The trouble is usually it attracts them. Or call in a bug control company. It will probably be months to get rid of them. Maybe longer. They tend to live in the walls. If you are seeing them. There is probably an infestation. GL
First of all you need an exterminator and they need to find the source unless of course you live in an apartment or some sort of shared building. Then the management has to bring in an exterminator for the entire building or buildings. You cannot just rid them from one apartment.

Ewwwww...Ok, sorry- for starters get rid of any food in cardboard. I have all my dry goods in plastic sealed containers.. Boric acid works just keep away from pets and kids... Put the boric acid along baseboards/walls. If you have a basement check there. You also may want to bomb your house/apt... They sell them at the home improvement stores.. Raid makes a good one..Good luck

I hate to scare you but if you see just 1 means thousands. You really need a exterminator, Beleive it or not roaches get ammuned to certain chemicals. Black Flag wont do anything. Boric acid does work, I know people that used some sort of gel and had sucess but best answer is exterminator.
