How do I stop our front load washing machine from moving around with the vibration caused bye the spin cycle.?

please make sure that the machine is level, all the way around, front to back, side to side, Go to a home center and pick up a carpet no slip pad, the ones that have holes in them and cut in and place under each leg.
Check the manual. Chances are the feet are adjustable. (like a screw that you can move up and down) If you have a level place it on the machine to see if it's perfectly flat.

The minimal shaking of the machine is to be expected while on spin cycle. Sometimes if the machine is overloaded or perhaps you are washing something heave, such as a rug, it doesn't balance well and can make the machine to do that even more so. If it happens on normal wash and most of the time, you should be able to adjust the balance on the washer and make sure it is sitting correctly before you start washing.
