How can I get rid of the bleach marks on my jeans?
Question:I have some really nice jeans which I splashed bleach on the legs. Can I dye them without them going really dark blue? They are light distresses jeans.
Answers:
why not try bleaching all over - 3/4 fill bath with cold water, add bleach 1/2 bottle and mix thoroughly, then lay jeans in (works better when jeans are already wet) keep checking them every hour until you get the effect you like best. this can take overnight. then just wash them in the usual way. hope this helps
you can't. You could pour more bleach on though, so they look like they should be like that?
No way of getting rid of bleach. I have tried colouring in with a similar felt tip before so its not so noticable. You could try a pale blue fabric dye, but it may change the whole coulour of the jeans.
Choose a light blue dye but to be honest I think you are gonna lose that "distressed" look because that is done by hand with a buffing machine.
I did that once & instead splashed bleach all over to give a customised look...go easy on the bleach though :)
You would have to get them professionally dyed.
You can't unfortunately I did the very same thing to my jeans... nightmare!! Mind you the washed out bleach look can look quite good, maybe if you evened it out on the other leg that might help?
you can buy some dye from most supermarkets its like powder you put it in your washing machine along with your jeans and should restore the colour to your jeans, but you may have to put the washing machine on a long hot wash after you have done your jeans (with nothing in) to get rid of any dye that may be left
