Question:we have a convienant store which we also cook in the cook keeps using the dish rags we buy to clean up grease spills and they have oil in them now how can i get it out i am tired of buying new rags every week for her to ruin.any suggestions?

Answers:
Wash them in Tide, or if it's really bad use a degreaser in the washer.

soak it in vinegar and water for about a day then rinse off and dry
otherwise, throw them out!
dish soap.
a de greaser then bleach i think that would work
If they have been washed and gone through the dryer, the stains have been set and its impossible to get them out. But if not, try using liquid dish soap that has a grease fighter in it. It removes grease from the fabric like it does ur dishes. Rub a fair amount on the oil stain, work it in and wash on warm, hang to dry and see if it worked. I have tried it on grease stains on my hubs shirt and it worked great.
I have worked several years in the food industry. Trying to clean the towels is more cost in money and effort than buying replacements. Most stores that serve food send there towels out for cleaning, because trying to get all the grease out is a nightmare. If you wash them at home, you will ruin your washing machine.
Perhaps you could buy super cheap blue paper towels, like the kind you see in auto repair shops. You could get some at the auto parts store just for grease cleaning. Also, go to the thrift store for old towels you can cut down for grease rags. They are super cheap there.
