How do get rid of that gunk left from price tags?

Question:I bought a reusable Nalgene water bottle and the price tag left some paper and gunk all over it. How do I get that off?

Answers:
Baby oil. Drip a few drops on, then rub with you finger and/or a rough rag. (Sometimes you have to use your fingernail to get the paper off.) Wipe off, then wash!

If you don't want to use chemicals, put very hot water in the bottle and wait about 40 seconds and peel away with your nail.

WD40 works very well in removing sticky goo.
goo b gone
The best way is to use rubbing finger nail polish over it
you can try this product called "goo be gone" also a blow dryer blow it directly on the gunky residue and the heat from the blow dryer will make it easy to take off. You can also try some rubbing alcohol
try Goo-Gone
Finger nail polish or lemon juice
WD-40
I know what you're talking about... I've solved this problem using that goo-gone product. it really does work and its even lemon scented... ; - )
A couple of people recommend finger nail polish please ... they meant fingernail polish REMOVER not the polish itself.

My ideas are listed... good luck.
Goo-Gone or De-Solv-It.both are fantastic products, and can also remove many other sticky things like chew gum, and melted at that too.
i've heard vinegar, but i've never tried it, so i don't know for sure. i've also heard goo-b-gone is good.
