How to remove water spots on drinking glasses?

Question:I rack-dry my water glasses. I happen to live in an area with hard water. Over time, water spots have become more or less permanent on the glasses. Is there a way to remove these spots that isn't too harsh-chemical-intensive?

Answers:
Soak them in vinegar and water then rinse well. If you are using a dishwasher, you might try Cascade Complete. It does a wonderful job of eliminating hard water spots (and no need to add Jet Dry or any other product). If washing by hand, try adding a little vinegar to the rinse water.

try rinsing them with a vinegar/water solution. You may need to soak them for a bit...the vinegar will help remove the spots. In the future, just towel dry the glasses. It will take you 2 extra minutes, and you wont have to go through the fuss to remove the water spots.
Casey, if you have hardwater, and use a dishwasher, put vinegar in with your spot remover solution. If you wash your dishes by hand, the best spot free soap is Joy, lots of professional window washers use it!
