lemon and the sun on it that helps so much -- i have had this problem too and it may not fix it all the way but it will help a lot just dont dry them in a machine till the stain is out also here is a site ((hugs)))

Try to rewash all over again. Use detergent with a tiny bit of bleach.

This has happened to me before, and I think the reason this happens is because the article of clothing is not 100% cotton. I tried everything, even as one answerer suggested, the lemon juice in the sun. Nothing helped, and I ended up throwing it away.
For future reference, I would try the lemon juice idea first, as I have never had it damage any clothes, and it usually gets out any stain I have had.
