Washing Pigskin Leather?

Question:Can you put pigskin leather in the washing machine? I have one of those super-new machines that can wash everything; landro-mat style. Is it safe to wash my jacket? I can't afford to dry clean it, and I was going to donate it to Goodwill anyway.

When you was leather it will become harder. Not as soft as it was before you washed the leather.

If it is harder after you wash, you could try saddle soap. I helps soften leather also helps keep it clean and soft.
