What kinds of products are good carpet cleaners BUT SAFE FOR RABBITS AND CATS?

Question:i need to get rid of stains

Answers:
Best thing to use and very safe;

Reg dish detergent; Teaspoon to a glass of cold water NOT Hot. Better more water then soap.

Or rent out a Portable Extractor and get a Chemical called Chemspec 77 (Its Bio - Solv not Soap)

Remember Soap will attract dirt but Very little soap is ok.
NEVER USE:

Resolve; Woolite

I have not found any household products much better than most, the Chemdry Stain Extinguisher sold at Home Depot is pretty good at stains. Any household product will be safe for the pets.
I have 2 toddlers/dog.. So, I always have some sort of stain... I like to use plain old CHEAP shaving cream... Just test it on a small area, just to make sure... I have berber carpet not a problem... I lightly wet area with warm tap water and put the shaving cream on spot.. Gently, blot with light colored towel and rinse with warm water... Also, I use a microfiber towel to blot it's wonderful.. It picks up everything... You can get a set of 12 for about $4 at Walmart... Its also is good at getting cat hair/dirt off furniture just dampen and wipe... Just remember when you wash them not to put them in the dryer with dryer sheets I hang mine to dry.
