Cleaning marble?

Question:I have a coffee table withan Italian Marble top, (I just bought it) how do I remove the glue from the sticky label that was on the marble.

Answers:
Marble is a stone & if you are going to use anything abrasive will
make it dull as it will remove its polish, also please do not use anything with citrus or vinegar that also makes it dull, The best way to remove glue is to use warm water & soap, put little warm water on the patch where the sticker was & then after it get loosen try to wipe it off, But in case its still there you can use BARKEEPERSFRIEND its available in all grocery stores & Walmart put some on top of the patch & again a little water, let it work for a min or so & then with soft cloth or a non-abbrasive scrubber just lightly scrub it off and then again wipe the entire table with clean damp cloth.

Good luck!!

I recommend to use the Red Devil scraping blade which they use for windows to remove away the excess. Blunt the 2 sharp corners before using. Remaining residue can be easily remove by thinner or sealer and adhesive remover.
Take a soapy cloth, hot, lay it on the table and keep on doing this until the glue gets soft and continue to rub with the hot soapy cloth and rinse the marble. It might take more than one try but keep on doing it .
A tiny bit of olive oil will take it off no problem! Just rub it on with a paper towel and let it soak in and wipe it right off. Goo gone and orange oil are great too but this is probably something you have in the house!!
