Answers:
The best way for this is wax. Use a candle and rub the whole of the zip. This will stop your sticking problems.

little bit of hand lotion and it will smell nice too, not that i am saying you stink, i'm sure your sweet kind regards x kitti x
Rub a bit of bar soap up and down the areas that are sticky ... works like a charm! :)
A small spray of WD40
Furniture polish, squirt a little on your finger then rub on zip,
the silicon in the polish keeps it running free.
Rub it with butter. No seriously!
get a bar of soap,
rub the soap on the zipper , it will make it slide easier and makes it easy to undo even when it gets stuck.
The candle wax will work, you can also do it with a soft lead pencil although there is obviously a risk of getting lead on your clothes if you go mad.
Candle wax is ideal, does the job and has the advantage of not risking staining the jacket.
Candle Wax
bar soap, wax, lead pencil or graphite all work well!
rub a little bit of wax or vaseline down the teeth of the zip - it should run smoothly then.
sounds silly but spray hair spray on it!!!
