What to do when home alone?
Question:I'm 13 and I am home alone and bored.
Things to do?
I like cooking and cleaning and doing stuff on the copmuter.

Look up recipes on the Food Network, check the ingredients you have on hand and make something. I learned to cook that way and it was great fun. Start an herb garden. If you don't have a yard, plant them in containers. It is also a lot of fun to care for the plants and then use them in your recipes.
Since you like working on the computer, make cards. You can design cards for everyone's birthdays for the rest of the year or get a jump start on Christmas cards.
Scan in photos and make a photo albumn. If you have print shop learn all of the interesting effects you can do with it and manipulate your photos.
I have a few that would be deemed inappropriate for this site...you're about at that age...
Okay, seriously...play video games or do something fun. If you actually enjoy cleaning (cooking is okay), go ahead and do that, but I'd find something fun to do.keep your childhood alive and play.
Ohhhh...try cooking up weird mixtures of foods...that's always fun.
If it's nice outside, clean up the yard a little... weeding, cutting the grass, trim bushes, etc. I'm sure whatever you clean inside or outside would be much appreciated by your parents, so find a room that really needs some attention! Maybe the bathroom, kitchen or dusting and vacuuming.

While I am home alone I like to make new recipes for my family. I spend a lot of the day cooking and cleaning up the mess I make. Just try throwing some stuff together that you think will go good together and then clean up after yourself and if it tastes good post the recipe on the Internet for everyone to see.
