How do you keep a glass shower screen clean?
Question:
Answers:
Use either full strength or diluted white vinegar & newspaper. The vinegar lifts up soap scum & doesn't leave behind a waxy residue like commercial window cleaners so the soap doesn't have as much to stick to. Plus it's environmentally friendly & super cheap!
Use one of those wiper blade window cleaners after every shower ( helps reduce the humidity in the room as well ) and clean once a week with a limescale cleaner.
leave a squeegee in the bathroom and wipe the screen down before you get out of the shower and use either a steam cleaner or an antibacterial cleaner on it every now and again to keep it clean and kill the germs!
enjoy your squeaky clean screen!!
We keep a squeegee in the shower and use it to remove the water to prevent water spots. I have found that Bar Keepers Friend works well to clean the entire shower, glass and the floor included, without scratching. It comes in a container like Comet, it's made for brass and glass so it is all I use since the other stuff just didn't cut it. Hope this helps. =)
Get ready for this, but it works: vinegar, yes, vinegar--
rinse well of course.
I promise you'll be amazed.
First of all use a squeegee on it after each shower. This cuts down on soap scum build up. I use BAM or CLR followed by Windex weekly.
Wet a fabric softener sheet then wipe the screen and the soap scum will come right off! Best technique I've used!
use lemon oil.
