How do you wash a fexfit hat?

Question:My father dropped my super nice 1 of a kind Puma hat at a park and its filthy, as if that wasn't enough, he then "accidentally" threw the hat with the intention of giving it to me while i was standing on the deck of my pool and take a wild guess where it landed. Long story short, the hat its dirty and wet and i have no clue how to wash it, there's no tags on it. HELP!!!

Walmart sells these plastic things to puth the hat it to keep it from getting bent or screwed up, then you put it in the dishwasher-without dirty dishes of course!! works every time
