How do you take tree sap out of a pair of shorts?
Question:i accidently sat on a glob of tree sap and now there is this huge mark on the back of my boardshorts is there any way to it out??

Cover the spot completly with ice cubes and let it set for awhile. The ice will make the sap harden and you can easily scrape or peel it off with your fingernail.
the little tide pen cleans up any stain. or just take regular detergent, some vinegar, and a little bit of water and dab the spot. then throw it in the washer and it should be as good as new.

Yes. This will sound funny, but "wash it with dirt." Take dirt, and rub it in with your hands. The sap clings to the fine particles of dirt. Do this several times. When you're down to the fabric. Rub in talc (not cornstarch), rub some laundry detergent into that, and let it soak overnight. Then wash regularly. If there's anything left, do the talc and detergent application once more. Good luck.
Lighter Fluid does the trick. but be careful!
