Why did my 100% rayon shirt shrink in cold water?

Question:The directions said wash cold, so I washed cold. And it shrank- alot.

How did you dry your shirt? On a hanger or in the dryer? It probably shrank because the dryer was too hot.

If you only washed it in cold water and did not dry it in a dryer, it's time to take it back to the store for a full refund.
