My shower cabin has mold, in the corners and on the joints between the floor and the wall.?

Question:The whole area is tiled. I just sprayed some Clorox bleach, left it to stand for about 5-6 minutes and then tried scrubbing it off with a grout brush. But the black mold turned bluish and is very hard. I can't seem to get it off the tiles. I tried washing it down as well. How do I get rid of it?

Answers:
Although what you are doing is certainly going to kill the mold, removal is another story. Mold can get deeply embedded into tile and especially grout. If you have already tried scrubbing for all you are worth, I am sorry to tell you that you may need to scrape out the old grout and apply new, only this time make sure that a mold inhibitor is mixed in.

Good luck.

tilelex or a thicker type of tile cleaner, after done re caulk
Try using white distilled vinegar. It will kill the bacteria that causes mold.
Chlorine does the best job of killing mold. But apparently, it has built up and deposited plaque and there is probably some mineral deposition as well.

So try letting the bleach dry up after sloshing it on, and also try various mineral deposit products.

And if you ever get it off, even if you don't, switch from soap to body wash, which is a detergent like shampoo. You will never have mold in the shower again.
spray on tilex tile and mold cleaner that should do it.
I'd take some baking soda in the shower with you and scrub it with a grout brush. We just bought a fixer-upper and the tile was DISGUSTING in the shower. Baking soda and a scrub brush did the trick. Good luck!
Take some comet and scour the area, if that doesn't do it, then take a piece of paper towel and wet it and place it over the spot, as long as its wet it will stay on the wall. Now spray bleach on it, and every so often you want to add more bleach and check how the stain is. When you do your normal cleaning make sure you get Clorox bath and tile cleaner, this way the tile and grout do not get time to create mold, because you are always on top of it.
KP, I think you may have a bigger problem. Is that black mold the kind of mold that can make you really, really sick? I would test it.
use tilex soap and scum remover it is awsome it comes in a blue spray bottle
Try " The Works Tub and Tile"
try the mr. clean erasing pads. they work on alot of stuff.
Clorox mold and mildew removal is great for this chore.
If it was me I'd replace the grout. Any home store can tell you how to do it.
