i have always used alcohol based hair spray for all ink stains---has always worked wonders, seems like aerosol works best( think cheap... aqua net or like product)

wash it of5-6 times, and if doesnt removes, take the pants to a special laundry...i dont know if will be clean...
Depends on the ink. If it's permanent (Sharpie) then I'm sorry to say.very little hope, except it may fade with many many washings.
If you haven't yet run them through the dryer, DON'T. Heat "sets" stains.
Your best bet is as the other answerer posted: hair spray. It "fises" the stain so it can be washed out. After you spray it, hopefully you'll notice it begin to "bleed" right away. This is a sign that it will probably come out. I'd make a paste with your washing powder, or pour a little liquid detergent on it, and scrub vigorously. Then wash in the hottest water your fabric will allow (check label). BEFORE you put them in the dryer, make sure that the stain is gone. If not, then repeat the whole process.
Try one of those stain remover sticks, such as Tide Spot To Go, or a prewash treatment, such as Spry and Wash on the ink. When you launder as usual, check to be sure the spot is gone. If it's not, DO NOT dry by machine. That will only serve to set the stain.
Repeat any treatment until the ink is gone.
If you are not successful, inquire at a dry cleaners to see if they think they can remove the stain.
I've never had the exact problem, but I have encountered some tough stains. I found this stuff called Thunder Blast at Dollar General, worked great!
Use rubbing alcohol. Pour it directly on the area of ink. DO NOT let it run because the ink will run to other parts of your favorite pants! Blot with paper towels.

When you wash the pants, be sure NOT to throw them in the dryer. Any heat will cause the stain to set permanently. Wash them only in cold water until the stain disappears.
