Best way I have found is to put a pot of water on the stove , add vinegar to the water and allow to simmer. Leave like this until the smell has gone, just remember to top up the pot with water. This will rid the smell of the smoke
Let me just say this...AIR FRESHNER DOES NOT WORK! it's best to just open a door or window to let the remains out. I should know i have three fire fighters in my family!!!
If you mean in clothes, Febreez does wonders. If you mean in the air then an ionizer fan does that
