I want to know how to get the spoiled smell out of bath towels when they have been left in the washer too long

Question:

Answers:
Re-wash them..

Was them again. However, if you opt not to wash them again, douse them in febreeze.
re-wash them, but add a little baking soda in with the detergent, then dry immediately
Rinse them in vinegar (about a cup should do) and then run the rinse cycle again with fabric softener to get the vinegar smell out. The vinegar will kill the bacteria that are responsible for the yucky smell. Fabric softener alone won't.
Rewash and put 1/2 c vinegar in the rinse water.
rinse with about a cup of white vinegar
I find if you simply re-rinse them the smell goes down the drain.
I always put two or three splashes of Lysol cleaner in with the laundry, I use alot of towels in my household and I kills germs, bacteria etc. eliminates odors and bacteria at same time. Best of luck
don't be lazy re wash them and take them out when they are done washing and dry them.
Re wash and use some vinegar in the rinse cycle then dry well.
