Throw Away or Keep?
Question:I have abunch of little things and other big thing, I'm just wondering should I keep them or throw them away?
I mean i have a typewrither, an electric one my cousing gave me, I never use since I have a computer now, then there is my walkman, I never use that either, since I have cd's and mp3 player, I mean should I keep, it or throw it away, I never use it.
I also have a printer to my computer, its an old comp, and hopefully I plan on getting a new comp, sometime this summer, so should I toss it. I mean I'm in college and now have a laptop and printer, with that. I just need to buy ink with it.
I mean do I need to keep this, typewrite, printer, walkman. I also have a few gameboy, advance, and pocket. I'm keeping the orginal though.
So keep or toss. And how to decide what to keep and what to toss?
Answers:
If you don't use it lose it.Otherwise it is known as clutter.
yard sale!
but if not toss it or give it to a kid to play with.
old technology is useless and will never make a come-back.
Keep the typewriter(one day you'll appreciate it)
Pitch the walkman
Recycle the printer.
if you haven't used/worn it in over 6 months, get rid of it - yard sale or donate it to a Salvation Army. one man's trash is another man's treasure!
Take the stuff to an e-bay store and see if they can sell it for you. I'm always amazed by what stuff sells on e-bay. If they say they can't, then toss it.
If you have a place to set them aside and store them for a little bit, why not try selling them on Craigslist.
I had a bunch of stuff that was sort of cluttering up my garage. Stuff that I really didnt think would sell, and I just took a picture, placed the ad, and all my stuff sold. I made hundreds of dollars on stuff I might have thrown out!
Try it. Just be careful of people wanting to send you money orders from a distant location. Only sell local and take cash only for sales on Craigslist.
It's Craigslist.com - then you pick your area from the menu on the right.
Please do no just throw it away. Our landfills are too full already! Recycle, recycle recycle!
Call a local charity and ask if they'd be interested in the items. Or put an ad on your local Freecycle or Craigslist.
Please don't toss them in the garbage. Our landfills are filling up too fast and things like these should be either sold on e-bay or donated to charity. I have an idea? Is there a poor church in your area, possibly in an inner city. Often they cannot afford equipment, and possibly can give you a donation slip for tax purposes.
Ebay! If you havent used it in 3months toss it.
Sell or donate. ( I wish I could buy your typewriter and printer )
