How do you get the sticky off of a skillet.it is new the label was on the skillet?

Question:

Answers:
There's a solvent called "Goof Off." Hardware stores have it.

Maybe nail polish remover would do it.

Good hot soapy water or goo gone then wash it good.
Soak it off
rubbing alcohol
Vegitable oil, if you don't have goo gone or nail polish remover
if you mean the sticky label put on by stores etc,,,,,use nail varnish remover
depends on the finish of the skillet (non stick or plain steel/aluminum)

I've always had luck getting stickers off with rubbing alcohol.

Or try goo-gone or goof-off. But I don't know how they'd affect non-stick surfaces. They'd be safe for stainless. and of course wash it like crazy after you use any sort of solvent like above.
RUN HOT WATER OVER THE PLACE WEAR THE LABEL WAS WITH SOAPE WATER HOT AS U CAN GET IT
I've found WD40 works excellent in removing the label glue. Squirt a little on the surface and use a paper towel to scrub. Make sure you thoroughly wash the skillet after you remove the sticky stuff.
soak it in hot soapy water for awhile. then take the back of the scrubbie and it will come off.
