Why has nobody in eastenders got a washing machine and have to use the launderette?

i have stayed their..its probably because of life style they having plus you got to be wealthy enough to afford a washing machine thr and beside we got maids to wash our clothes Like here we dont have maids and washing machine does our clothes

loll i noticed that plus most people seem to eat and drink in the cafe yet live 2 mins walk away does anyone actually use a supermarket either or just use the local shop they must be loaded our local shop is well pricy
I have often wondered this! Have you noticed also that in "Neighbours" none of them have a dishwasher either?

Probably because they spend all their money in the pub, and as others have said, the caff is really dear as well. If they saved a few quid a month they could soon afford a machine. We all know you can pick them up cheap enough.

Ha Ha, had to laugh. I think its crazy that a pub like the queen vic has no washing machine!
