Is their any way i can clean a Painted paintball gun?

Question:i bought this real nice spyder gun from the flea market, and the owner though it would be cool to paint or spray paint a como design. and you could see some of the actual shiny ness of the real chrome under the paint. well how can i completely remove the paint to show what the gun looked like before?

Bead blasting. Instead of using sand that will pit the gun's finish in a nano second, beads are tiny plastic balls that will remove the paint, but not damage the gun's surface.
