How can i get wax out of a microfiber couch?

My wife spilled wax from a candle all over our carpet one time. She used a paper towel over the wax, and then an iron on top of the paper towel. It melted the wax and was absorbed up into the paper towel. It actually worked! Maybe the same will work on the couch.

I use an iron, not too hot, and put an absorbent cloth on it and just iron it off. The heat will melt the wax and the cloth with absorb it.
