Hi Andrew, I think if your looking to save money your best bet is to go with a store brand such as CVS's brand, especially when they go on sale, good time to stock up! I myself only buy it when it's on sale. Have a great weekend:)

I have found the ceapest to be Purex Laundry Detergent. It is pretty good too. I use it!
In the store where my dad shops, it's Tide. At least that what he buys all the time.
Albertson's supermarkets periodically have sales on name brands where they say "buy one and get three more free." That makes for a years worth of cheap name-brand cleaning.

Sun brand is the cheapest I have seen but I don't recomend it at all..it stinks and doesnt clean well(my opinion). I agree with the Prux, that is the one i use also and you can get different fragrances, the new concentrate is great to. $2.50 for 32 loads at wal-mart

Stay away from Purex/Arm Hammer/Sun/Xtra.
Call around until you find the store. Large grocery stores and discount stores such as Sam's Club, some Walmart stores, etc.. You can buy a 5 gallon bucket of powdered laundry detergent for around $11-$13 - - this would last you all year.
This soap is environmentally safe, freshens clothing but you need an extra 'boost' for stains. . . Mix dry detergent in water before you put your clothes in.
Also, have a bottle of liquid laundry detergent (I use X-tra). Pour little liquid on a stain, rub into fabric & wash.
This is the cheapest way to wash clothes using this combo.
