What's so magic about Mr. Clean Magic Sponges?
Question:I used one today to clean the microwave, clean the top off my washer and dryer, and the top of the stove and the range hood. It totally fell apart just after those few uses. And I didn't feel it worked very well either. So what's so magic about these sponges? At two dollars a pop, what's so great? Is this a BS marketing ploy?

I have used them for small things like black shoe marks on the floor and crayon on walls and things and yes I also find they wear down rather quickly but that is a listed trait of the sponge.
Personally I found using one of those soft plastic scrubbing squares does almost the same job for way less money.
no they work but you have to use them gently. they remove stuff that nothing else will. use for small spots, not stuff that be cleaned with water and pinesol
They are like real erasers when you use erasers they start to get smaller and smaller but when you use the sponges they fall apart so you have to buy more like erasers.
