Clean windows?
Question:how do you get smear free windows? i have tried every product on the market and they do not do what is says on the tin. when the sun shines the windows are all streaky. i've also tried vinegar and newspaper and that's crap too. any advice please it's driving me bonkers !

Get a window cleaner to do them for you? Somehow they manage to get the windows completely smear free!! Its so unfair, how can they do it and we can't!!

I use the good old Windex but clean and dry with newspaper. Go try it now and you will see that it works great!
Hi vinegar and dry it off with newspaper apparently the ink inthe newspaper shines the glass
Try washing with a spong and soapy water, then rinsing off with clear water and then using a rubber scraper, wipe in one direction only to remove all liquid. It works on car windscreens.
I think after using all those products, the only way to get them clean is to use Paraffin mixed with equal parts of methylated spirits, This will clean off any of the products you have used on your widows. I have to say news paper and vinegar with warm water always cleans widows well, then with a cotton cloth to shine
Best window cleaner I've ever used is Martha Gardner's Woolmix in water as hot as you can tolerate it. Doesn't need to be rinsed off, just wipe the glass dry then finish off with a soft absorben cloth - I use an old towel.
Washing up liquid, shower gel ANY detergent and wipe down with newspaper. Your windows will gleam to the point of distraction!
Do it when the sun is really bright, its a great effect!
try vodka mixed with water ( one part VODKA to two parts water),,, use newspapers never a cloth whatever the variety
Mr muscle window cleaner is the only product I have found that does not smear.

I use warm water and a cif type kitchen or bathroom gel - in the blue/green bottles - you know right?
Anyway, use a little of that in the warm water, clean with wet window cloth/shammy.
Immediately after, use newspaper to shine them and remove smears, often windex is not necessary..
E-Cloths they are truly amazing may seem a bit pricey but are worth every penny makes window cleaning effortless, no detergents need check them out can be bought on various Internet sites
