How do you keep your dishwasher smelling fresh?

I always use a little clorox..it helps kill germs too!! I use it in the sink where I do quick wash ups on my hands and on those few straggler dishes that always get left out, or show up. Pour it down the sink to make it smell fresh too!! Even in the bathroom Commodes.
use it often and put bleach in it
Lemon juice mixed with baking soda.
do not pee in it
Bleach it and rinse it out or use white vinegar

you could also check the little part at the bottom where food particles collect and you could empty it out :)

A cup of bleach added to the cycle and a good way to cut down on germs bartenders do it all the time.
Don't leave it longer than two days without running it. Don't put dishes in from fish, etc. Run a cycle with vinegar in it. Use a good, brand-name dishwasher soap - I use one with lemon in it.
You can buy a type of air freshener for the dishwasher, they last about 1 month. You just hook it inside and you never have a smelly machine, Most big stores sell them , should find this next to the dishwasher tablet´s
I use the electrasol 3 in one tabs .. the citrus ones .. holy cow .. not only does my dishwasher smell nice, my entire kitchen smells great
First rinse off your dishes before placing them in the dish washer, use bleach once a week in it [good for the dishes too]. Run it at least three X's a week.
I spray Fabrze in it every Saturday and find that has also helped a lot.
I like to use Cascade Plastic booster as a cleaner once a month or Jet Dry dishwasher cleaner. Both work very well and I have tried both on my dishwasher that I have had for about 4 months.

Washing a pair of Pu$$y juice soiled panties in it for about 10 minutes usually does the trick for mine :) Smells like Fresh Spring Pu$$y
At risk of sounding odd, I know just the thing. Try running it with Tang orange drink in it. The crystals clean the machine and the orange makes it smell good. I got this from my dishwasher repair man. It works great and doesn't harm the environment or the machine.
