How do I get candle wax off concrete floor?

Question:My husband spilled candle wax on our concrete lanai floor. It is textured and painted. He tried a hairdryer and it just made a soupy mess... Help!

Answers:
wait untill its hard or use ice cubes to harden it then scrape it off carefully with a plastic kinfe or spoon
good luck!

Ice cubes!
freeze it because you already melted it you may have to use muriatic acid to clean
try product call goo be gone can get at any local store
The hair dryer works as long as you put paper towel on top of the wax before you start blowing dry. After it is melted into the paper, let it cool a bit and peel it up. You can also try getting the wax very cold (ice packs) and then use a single edge razor blade to chip it apart and vacuum it up.

Good luck
use a lighter and melt it then with a damp rag wipe it off.
Scrape as much as you can away with a credit type of card then rub over with white spirit and wire wool. Then mop over. I got it off a stone floor this way.
My dad used to install flooring for a living and whenever there was wax on anything, he would put a piece of newspaper over it and use a clothing iron to melt the wax onto the newspaper. Works like a charm!
