Try pouring some chlorine bleach in it and let it soak. Then rinse and scrub with a steel wool pad and rinse VERY thouroughly.
Yes help is at hand, Put enough warm water to cover the stain, add 1 tablespoon of baking powder, leave for 10 min´s then wash with your normal dish soap. Just remember warm water not hot. you can add more powder if needed

Boil Rhubarb in it. It will not only make your pot shine, but if you chop it in about 1/4" bites, and add sugar to the left over water to make a sweet syrup, it is a delicious healthy dessert!
use some pure vinegar.
let stand for a bit then bring to a boil.
try washing..
then if needed soak again.
it may take a time or two, but it has worked for me.
