How do you get tree sap out of clothes?

Question:It seems washing doesn't touch it.

Answers:
you might want to try rubbing mayo in it first, I know it sounds weird but thats what I use to get it off my hands, the oils break down the sap.

This will sound odd, but apparently rubbing butter on the stain and then washing should work. But I've never tried this, so I leave the decision to you whether you try it or not!
goo gone
Have you tried doing it on a hot wash, it might melt it away. I hate that, I live around alot of trees too. My garden suffers too with all the moisture being sucked away by the tree roots!
Try soaking in meths. (UK) alcohol in USA I have found that meths is useful for many jobs that water alone won't budge. Sticky labels on items that have been bought for instance.
