Burn spots?

Question:i droped a lit match on my couch luckily it didnt start on fire is there any way i can get rid of the burn spot?

Answers:
Rub the burn spot with a slice of potato, This usually removes the singe from the surface . The brown tips from the burn mark sometimes wash out ,or you can carefully trim them with scissors, brushed and then rubbed with coarse glass paper . Hope this helps a little
