A little WD40. Works great.
hi Sonia
Sticky stuff is an organic substance so needs an organic remover. First, try nail varnish remover - but please try it in an inconspicuous place first! Just a little on a cotton wool ball might do the trick. If not, Lakeland Limited do something called 'Sticky stuff remover'. It's a bit more pricey, but it's quite useful around the house!
There is a product from 3m which removes sticky marks. It is like a pen but smells likes oranges. and it works very well you can get it at any office supply store.
Try lighter fluid. It works on price stickers beautifully and doesn't mark as it evaporates. I ve been using it for years on sticky marks and it always works a treat!
Good luck!!
white spirits, or meths but only dampen do not soak
Depending on the material your dash board is made of, you can use Goo Gone or Goof Off. Those products do not work well on plastic. They remove some of the plastic along with the glue. If it's leather or metal, they will work great.
Bettaware sell a good one.
Goo Gone
