How can I fade a new black shirt quickly?

Question:I have 3 days to fade this shirt. Can I use diluted bleach? How much? I've washed it 5 times and let it sit in peroxide and its still dark. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Answers:
No bleach--that eats natural fibers. If you want it to fade quickly then use a pumice stone to gently break up the fibers, then wash it in hot water WITH every day laundry, especially towels and wash clothes. Let it also dry with these other items. The reason I know this works is because I've accidentally faded lots of my black clothes by accidentally putting them in the washing machine and dryer with towels. Be sure NOT to turn the shirt inside out or you'll just fade the reverse side.

I'd say diluted bleach. I'm no expert, but I think that's your best bet.
If you're not worried about it shrinking, let it soak in hot water.
i always use bleach for stained white shirts--it always works!
It depends on the fabric. Did you try putting it in the dryer after you washed it. Black fades in the dryer. If you try diluted bleach it may change the color all together rather than fading it. You could hang it outside in the sun for a while, that will fade the color.
Fill your kitchen sink with water & add about 1/2 cup bleach & mix well, put the shirt in untill it is as faded as you need it, remember, wet things are always darker than when dry.
