Bubble gum? :s?

Question:I have bubble gum on my carpet and it's still sticky.

I don't have any of the chemical sprays or anything to use and I can't go and get some.

At the moment i have a bag of ice on it because I know that you freeze chewing gum and it gets cold and hard and you can break it off. Does bubble gum work the same way?

Any other suggestions of how to get it off?

Thanks

Answers:
Ice is a good start. Chip as much of the frozen gum off that you can. Fot the residue left behind, use a small amount of peanut butter (much easier to deal with) or cooking oil (only if you don't have peanut butter, because it's harder to get up after the gum is gone). Once the actual gum is gone, clean the spot with a couple of drops of Dawn dish soap in about a cup of warm water.

i think bubble gum is the same as chewing gum i would have said go for a bag of ice but your already doing that i hope you get it out good luck
yup--ice & a putty knife to scrape it off
Yes, it works the same.
