Pinholes out of fabric?
Question:I was wondering what the best way is to remove pinholes from wool pants. There was a stitch that I removed and now I can see the holes. I haven't found anything on google, so I'm asking for help. Thanks in advance.
Answers:
Try steam pressing over them with a pressing cloth on top between your iron and the fabric. That should remove the marks, unless they're really big. I do that when I have to let down a hem, and it removes the mark from the old hem line, so it should remove those little pinholes.
Believe it or not, dabbing it with a little white vinegar before pressing might help, too.
Sorry to say but there is nothing that can be done to save this garment, the pinholes might gradually wear away on there own but you can not remove them, a feat man has never been able to do yet ! although this garment is ruined it is still wearable and as I say might wear away eventually and the pinholes should not be able to be seen from far away only close up and I am sure no one is inspecting your clothes up close nor will they think less of you because you got a few pinholes in your pants, try to live with them until or at least until they might wear away on their own. Good Luck !
