What's the best way to move a heavy armoire without scratching my hard wood floors?

Question:

Answers:
I totally agree with Kelly S. The "Moving Men" is GREAT! I have used it for heavy furniture on carpet and it's so easy, I can imagine hardwood floors will be a snap!

You can get them here:

Use a two wheel dolly with straps. Thats how I move everything on my hardwood floors.
There are these little plastic discs called "moving men" that you can buy at Walmart or Target that you shimmee underneath each foot and then you can slide the armoire around really easily.

Another solution is to place a washcloth underneath each foot and it can do the same thing! Hope this helps!
Place each of the feet on small cloths / rags. It will slide easier too.
One way to do that is to tilt one side up and slide a blanket under the legs. Do the same for the other side. You should be free to slide said armoire around. Just make sure its empty and your using a pretty thick blanket or quilt... towels might even work but I suggest the blanket/quilt.
go buy some things that will stick to the bottom of each leg of the armoire, they are like the things on the bottom of kitchen chair legs but have a bit of fuzz on them which makes them soft and allows you to slide things on hard wood without scratching, good luck!
Save your backs & your floors. Put it on a blanket & pull it where you want it. Ta-Da!
little teflon disks you get at wall mart
