How do I get oil out of pool water? They don't mix!?

Question:Daughter lathered up in tanning oil, now it covers the surface of the water. Help!

Answers:
Super chlorinate the pool with enough chlorine to add 10ppm to your pool size.

This should oxidize the oil out of the pool in a bit. By the next day you can add a floc to the water if any oil is still left to get it to combine with whatever oil is left over and then it will settle to the bottom in globs so you can vacuum it up.

Spongeee . or maybe a pool skimmer
Only time will get rid of this.
I'm really not sure, but I got this Site from Google.

The best thing to use is a product called Pool First Aid from Natural Chemistry. Is it an enzyme formula that will break down the oil naturally and quickly. Most other methods really won't help too much. If it's really bad, use more than the directions suggest for your size pool (no harm in doing this since it is a natural enzyme). Here is the link to it on the Internet:

I've had many success stories from this...
