How can I clean lint that comes from the dryer vent?

Question:My dryer vents out next to my front door. Lint builds up on the brick and walkway. I can't find a way to get it up because it has hardened. Is there any way I can get it up easily?

Answers:
i use bleach water and a wire brush and then hose it down afterwards

You might try getting it wet on the brick and the walkway and use a scrub brush or even a wire brush (carefully) to remove it. Good luck!
You might try what the previous poster stated, then put something over the vent to catch the lint. I have used knee high hose. They slip over the vent and can be secured with a rubber band or some else that makes it easy to change.
Buy a front loading washing machine.

Clothes washed in a front loading maching produce less lint. So when the dry dries them, you will have less lint. Also, make sure you have a lint screen.

Your walkway will be lint-free.
