I got an I ROBOT for mothers day and LOVE IT!!!?
Question:AND I LOVE IT! as a mom of 4 kids, what a treat! the i robot does the vaccuuming, while i play with my kids! frees up my time!! any one else own one??/ what do YOU think of the product?

area rugs before you let
the thing loose. Otherwise,
you'll be in for a tangled

I loved mine too.. then one day it started going around in circles.. bumping into furniture and not correcting itself and making really bad noises.
So, I called the company.. (nice people) and they sent me a thingy with instructions on how to reset the Roomba. It worked temporarily.. then I called them back and they sent me a new one.. but once again in about 4 months.. the same thing happend with this one.
I absolutely LOVED the product.. but I spent too much money for it because it didn't last long enough to be worth the price. I have wood floors everywhere but the bedrooms and they have wall to wall low pile carpeting. There was no reason that the product didn't last a very long time. It wasn't excessive wear and tear.. yes, I used it everyday because we live in florida in a sandy location and the wood floors got sandy.
I wish the product would have lasted longer and I wish the company would read this answer to your question and send me a new one (that will last).
I ended up throwing it away. I can't afford to replace the thing at almost $300.00.
