Paint lefted to dry on carpet - help - how do i get it off?


Question:Question for the professional carpet cleaner - i am Purchasing a HUD home. couple of rooms had some spill paint and lefted to dry on carpet from the previous owner. i will have the whole house clean by the professional carpet cleaner, but i havent had the esstimate done on it yet. can the carpet be save? what do you use to get the paint off? Thanks in advance for your time.

OOOOOOOh NOOOOOOOOOOOO! No kerosene, you will end up replacing the whole carpet! And that is from experience. Try cold water and a rag, rubbing it off. Hopefully its latex, pick with fingers and rub with rag and cold water. Please dont use kerosene


put some kerosene oil on it...keep it for 2 3 hours...then rub it....it may go off like this.
