Can I replace the drum bearings on my hoover softwave auto-washer 1000?

Question:Has anyone done this job before? I need a hoover repair manual does anyone know where I can get one? Does anyone know where to get hoover spares in the area of Kent.? We are having to shout at each other during the spin cycle! [mind you we do this most of the time]....

This is quiet a big job,approx 2hrs,and you would need the proper tools to do it.If you havent done things like this before i would think its going to be to much for you.But if you want to take it on you are going to need a bearing puller,(which doubles up as a press,to push the new bearings in).You will also need to purchase a new shaft,which bolts onto the back of the inner drum.You know what! I'd go and buy a cheap front loader,it's really not going to be worth doing it.
