How can I clean my feet?

Question:I'll admit, I am a true southerner... I loove goin barefoot, and absolutely HATE shoes! I was playin basketball, and my feet wont come clean! Ive tried the regular "soap and water" but it aint workin. please help me! I need another solution lol

Answers:
Shower with soap and water, use a pumice stone on those soles, and finish off with some rubbing alcohol wipes after you get out and dry off. I would not put any other harmful chemicals on your skin (like kerosene).

I'm a southerner too... we all get dirty asphalt feet during the summertime. It's our tradition.

The sad part about doing all this additional washing for people like you and me is that next week we will be outside running around barefoot again on the driveway, in a parking lot, in a playground, or on the street and our soles will be black and dirty all over again LOL!

It's a vicious cycle.

soak in water with a small amount of bleach and you will have the cleanest feet on the block. use lotion after drying your feet and don't soak but once a week. the softer the feet the better they clean.
Rubbing Alcohol, if you don't believe me just try it. Then wash off as normal. And of course put lotion on after clean and dry.
prevention is better than cure. After you follow the other 2 answers - just do this:

1) always wear socks
2) change socks after coming in your house
3) buy new socks monthly

report to us here once you have done this in 12 months!
Soak them in really warm water with suds in it. Use a scrubbie. Keep them moisturized with something good.
Good luck!
You could use a pumice rock to get the callouses & dirt off of your feet. But then again, enjoy being able to go barefoot if your weather permits it. I remember going barefoot all summer long... when I could run on our gravel driveway with bare feet, I knew my callouses were good enough to really enjoy summer.

Makhaya Ntini quotes, "There's nothing like putting your bare feet into fresh cow dung on a cold day. It's great.” Now, that's going a bit too far, don't you think?
if you were playing on asphalt, it's probably not going to come off without some sort of a mild solvent. Goo Gone, or something like that should work. for a braver soul, gasoline or kerosene would work. You just have to get something that will break down the tar that you've ground into your skin.
The only other suggestion is straight vinegar. I always use apple cider vinegar when cleaning. Also I was just thinking my husband uses a product I cannot think of it that he uses that gets grease off of hands after he works on the cars. I think it is Go Joe.

Dr. Oz (doctor from Oprah)

it's no surprise that so many people's feet smell. After all, Dr. Oz says, there are a quarter-million sweat glands on your feet. "You can generate about a half a liter of sweat from your foot in a day. It really does make a lot of juice."

But that sweaty foot is not the direct cause of the stink. After all, sweat is sterile. That pungent smell is actually caused by fungus or bacteria—such as athlete's foot. "Take your shoes off and look to see if you've got a little bit of a pitting on the bottom of your foot, on the sole. The pitting is … almost like little pinholes in the bottom of your foot, and it usually is a little bit white. That's an example of a fungus infection," Dr. Oz says.

So how can you get rid of the bacteria? Dr. Oz's remedy has a cure in the bag. Brew up some mild iced tea and put your feet in it for about 30 minutes a day for a week. "The tannic acid in the tea will actually tan your foot a little bit, which will dry it out," he says. "That's helpful in reducing the amount of sweat, and the odor as well."
go and get a pedicure and they will sort out your feet they have all sort's of magic potions for every sort of foot problem
i have heard clorox and vinegar and stain remover
I am a barefoot person also. Even in the snow. I do the warm water with a bit of bleach soak, then a pumis rock to smooth the soles of my feet. It even takes grass stains off.
