What is best way to clean a couch we bought from old lady with cats. It has lots of cat hairs on bottom?

As your wife/GF/BF/SO is running to the supermarket for a steam cleaner rental,
Fill a spray bottle [an old Windex bottle will do.] with disinfectant.
Find 2 or 3 BIG plastic bags, a role of tape, and the vacuum… SPRAY all the cushions down until JUST barley damp… shove one of the cushions into a bag and follow it with the vacuum hose… remove ALL the air from the bag, CRUSH the cushion down flat… tape the bag shut.
Grab the next bag and cushion…
When the steam cleaner gets home. Spray down the sofa with disinfectant until barley damp, and add some of the disinfectant to the stemmer tank, and go to work.
Remember to flip the sofa over and open the bottom to get inside.
When you finish with the sofa open the bags and get rid of them. STEAM. Toss the cushions in the air a few times and then into the sofa.
NOW… Just incase dust the thing with flee powder.

I can suggest you have it steam cleaned. Like this it will look good and at the same time you will have no worries of catching any fleas. Remove the stuck on hairs with Sellotape. Hope this helps you a little
You could hire a professional cleaner to do it if it's really bad. Try vacuuming it like crazy, and for the fur use one of those rolling-sticky things - over and over again to get it all off. Then spray with Frebreze or something!

call in the big guns and let them handle it. not much cost, it smells good and you are sure you got the job done right the 1st time.
always worry about inheriting anything when you get stuff from other people.
You get duck tape and stick on the bottom then pull it of and hair comes off now just do that over and over again.
