For colors, and white laundrey, what temperature.?
Question:do you need. like hot/hot or cold/cold
Answers:
Cold/ cold if they are mixed up together, otherwise the colors may run on the whites.
Definitely cold/cold.
Bright colors - cold water
Whites - hot water
Anything else - warm water
hot/hot it should be on your washing machine or if its by hand a lil soap powder and hot/hot
40c
Hot on whites, cool or cold for colors. (not sure warm)
For colors, cold/cold, for whites hot/hot. Or you can just wash everything on cold like I did in college.lol
Colors should be washed in cold/cold.
Whites are a little different story. In their case, you should focus on the fabric. If you are washing straight cottons, then use a hot wash and cold rinse. But if you have permanent press items, then go with warm water only for the wash, and still use a cold rinse.
Hope this helps. Good luck!!
You need new clothes...
I have a feeling your clothes are destroyed from previous attempts LOL
The old rule was hot water and Clorox for white cottons and warm or cool for colors, depending on the fabric. But with today's all temperature laundry detergents, you can wash about everything using warm or cold water, saving on your hot water bill.
for colors cold. I have washed whites in hot and ruined them. I think you can get them clean in warm if they have stains you should never wash them in hot. it sets the stains. even for whites. you can use bleach and cold water or warm. for colors always use cold. if you hang your tops on a hanger to dry they will look new longer. and pants too. if your tops are heavy when wet you can lay them flat to dry even if the tag says they can be dryed in a dryer it is usually best to not use the dryer.
Choosing the correct water temperature helps keep your clothes in good condition. You’ll pick one temperature to wash in and one to rinse in (though both may be the same).
Hot water is for sturdy whites, colorfast pastels, light prints and heavily soiled clothes.
Warm water is for colorfast dark or bright colors, polyester, acrylic, nylon synthetics and washable woolens. It’s great for the permanent press cycle. This temp will minimize the loss of dye in your fabrics.
Cold water may keep dyes from bleeding. It’s best for lightly soiled clothes and items in the gentle cycle. No matter what temperature you wash in, cold is the best for rinsing your clothes.
I always do cold/cold. Other wise you have to seperate your colors. The warmer temps. get the clothes cleaner, though you can do more laundry, quicker if you do cold/cold.
You can just set the water temperature on the warm\warm setting, and use the appropriate detergents, bleach and fabric softeners.
My son started doing this and stopped RUINING his clothes by forgetting to change the temperatures.
I use warm for whites, cold for everything else.
Warm wash/Cold rinse
