What is the best cleaner for stainless steel appliances?
Question:
Answers:
i find Mr muscle works great at getting grease of stainless steel. you do have to be careful because some cleaners can damage the shiny surface of steel
i've tried all cleaners and the best for me has been a soft cloth and water, go with the grain. trust me...my stove cost over 2 grand and that lil tip worked for me.
What i use that works very well is Ajax Stainless steel cleaner. It can be found at a hardware store or sometimes even walmart. it is in a aerosol can.
I use plain white vinegar on a soft cloth most of the time. It removes all fingerprints and grease, even from my cooktop. However, once a week or so I use a product called Stainless Steel Magic, which I believe I get at HD. Careful of the aerosols. They often overspray which makes your floors wicked slippery.
Lemon Oil,Baby!
use a vinegar and water solution and then order some jubilee from Johnson and Johnson. It is an older product but they still make it and it puts a barrier between appliances and the dirt, finger prints etc to make them just wipe away easily. You can apply it once a month and then just wipe away the dirt with water only. It is the greatest thing they have ever made.
there's a brand called cif (found in cleaner isle of supermarket) (available in England and Ireland, not sure where else!) that has a cleaner that is supposed to be an excellent cleaner and polisher of steels!
good luck!!
