How do I remove melted crayons from jeans?

Question:There was a black crayon in my son's jeans when I put them in the dryer. I know, I was supposed to check his pockets, but I forgot. Now it has melted on every pair of jeans he owns. How do I get it off?? ALL ANSWERS ARE APPRECIATED!

Answers:
Put a brown paper bag over the crayon. Iron. It should come off.

Good luck!

I am not sure if it will work but i heard that if you use an ice cube or a cold pack and put it over a waxy area it will make it easier to lift the wax out by picking at it
try to rub it of wit cold water if dont come of try to use shout
Ditto, on the iron suggestion. I hate it when this happens!! If this doesn't work, try washing and drying in hot water many times.
Put paper towel on top of the wax spots, cover with a towel or press cloth, and iron. This will melt the wax and it will soak into the paper towel. You may have to be persistant, but it should work.
Try frezzing it with an ice cube, then you should be able to flake it off.
Your favorite carpet cleaner or vaccuum cleaner store has something called
POG( paint, oil, grease) or can suggest a chemical to take out the crayon if it is extensive. A hot Iron and a clean cloth may work with some effort if the damage is not too extensive. Place the cloth over the crayon and pass the hot
iron over the cloth. A white handkerchief works well as the cloth because it is thin. If the fabric is going to release the crayon you will see it on the cloth.
Just buy new jeans or have your son wear them with the crayon
grease on them, and have your son blame you. We had melted crayons on the back seat of our car and were never able to remove the stains. Good luck.
There's a spray called Dissolve it. It works really good. I have 3 boys and I always keep one handy. I think you can buy it at Walmart. It's a clear bottle with orange liquid. It's made with real oranges, and it works on a lot of things. I hope this helps.
